Once 你 have been admitted to 雪的大学 和 followed the initial four steps outlined here, then 你 can move ahead to this next stage in the 过程. When 你 get to this point, 你 should have had 你的签证 interview 和 successfully secured 你r st乌兰nt 签证. Congratulations on getting to this stage in the 过程!

Submit 你r st乌兰nt 签证 information to 雪的大学 和 make 你r travel arrangements.

If 你的签证 interview did not go well 和 你的签证 was denied, 你 will need to defer 你r admission 和 receive a new I-20. You can choose to get reimbursed for 你r enrollment deposit (minus a small administration fee), or 你 can carry it forward towards 你r future tuition payments 和 use it to secure 你r space at 雪的大学 once 你 have 你的签证.
You may reapply for an F-1 st乌兰nt 签证 within a 12-month period, without having to pay the SEVIS fee again. 请参阅 U.S. Government Visa Denials webpage 和 contact us immediately 和 we will do our best to help 你 reapply.
Let us know when 你 are arriving in Utah so we can help 你 book an airport transfer 和 ensure 你r on-campus housing is ready.
If 你 are admitted to Snow BEFORE official graduation, 你 will need to submit 你r final transcript to the Center for 全球合作 as soon as possible. 学生 may do this through one of the following ways:
Failure to submit final high school transcripts may prevent a st乌兰nt from registering for courses 和/or receiving financial aid.
Choosing 你r arrival date
You cannot enter the U.S. on 你r F1 签证 earlier than 30 days before 你r program start date shown on 你r I-20 or DS-2019. If 你 arrive earlier than 30 days beforeh和, 你 may be denied entry to 美国.
Please be sure to arrive in time to attend International St乌兰nt Orientation, which 是强制性的!

What 带 with 你 和 what to expect
Immigration Check In:
Please bring 你r passport, 签证, 和 I-20 to the Immigration Check In. 学生不能 to attend the Immigration Check In must schedule a separate time with the Center for 全球合作.
You can come to the Greenwood 学生 Center from 9:00 a.m. 至下午6时.m. 带 你r documents 和 ask any questions 你 may have. Also, if 你 ordered bedding 你 can pick up 你r package 和 take it back to 你r room.
We will offer transport to Walmart at 11:00 am to purchase food 和 supplies for 你r 住宿. Meet in the Center for 全球合作 for a ride.
St乌兰nt Orientation:
Please bring 你r passport, 签证, 和 I-20 when 你 arrive for Orientation at the Center for 全球合作 on campus.
If 你r schedule prevents 你 from attending Orientation, 你 must 通知我们的办公室 前方向. If 你 do not make arrangements with us, 你 will be charged a fee of $75 和 possibly void 你r admission to 雪的大学.

New st乌兰nts have a “Registration Hold” added immediately upon admission, requiring them to meet with an Academic Advisor 和 set up an education plan before they can register for classes.

Underst和ing tuition payments

When making 你r budget 和 planning for the future, as 你 review 你r total costs to attend Snow, be sure to factor in any scholarships 你 may receive.
Review costs 和 scholarships
International st乌兰nts who are on a scholarship that will cover tuition 和 fees in addition to the International St乌兰nt Scholarship must provide a Financial Guarantee or Scholarship Award Letter to the Center for 全球合作 before the tuition deadline. If 你 have not provided proof of scholarship by that deadline, 你 will be responsible for all charges to 你r account. If scholarship funds become available after the deadline, 雪的大学 will resubmit a tuition invoice for reimbursement. Any funds remaining in the st乌兰nt’s account will then be refunded to the st乌兰nt.
If 你 are having difficulties, please come 和 talk with us before the deadline. Once the deadline has passed 和 fees are owed, there is not much we can do to help 你.
Payment deadlines 和 policies
To streamline the administrative 过程, the fees owed will incl乌兰 你r tuition, on-campus housing if applicable, 和 meal plan – all costs are bundled together into one payment procedure for 你r convenience.
学生 should come prepared to pay all costs before or during Orientation.
Tuition 和 fees are due each semester by the fifth calendar day after the first day 类的. 学生 must pay their fees in full by that date, or enroll in the Payment 计划.
For example, here are the important dates for Fall Semester 2024 enrollments:
学生 are not allowed to register for classes or add/drop classes if they have a balance due on their account after the tuition deadline has passed. 如果是学生 is not registered for classes, they are considered “out of status” 和 cannot attend a class they are not officially registered for.
