This is a unique program that gives international st乌兰nts a chance to gain real-life work experience on campus.

For this specific internship, st乌兰nts are only allowed to work on-campus with faculty and staff of 雪的大学, due to their visa requirements. If accepted for this internship, st乌兰nts have the freedom to choose the office they would like to work in and learn 从. For example, if you are a computer science major and would like to learn more about cyber security, then you can work directly with our IT department in this specific area.
In addition to gaining hands-on experience and an hourly wage, you will work side by side with our staff or faculty, forging strong relationships. 在你的最后 internship, you may also receive a letter of recommendation or job referrals 从 the people you interned with, which will be valuable assets to you as you approach 毕业.

After you have studied at 雪的大学 for one academic year, you may be eligible to work off-campus but only in your field of study or major. 的re are two options:
This option requires that you are registered for an internship/practicum course that is an “integral part of an established curriculum (required for all st乌兰nts in the major or optional in the program)”. 你需要 complete an application with a recommendation 从 the faculty member offering the course. 请注意，如果 you receive one year or more of full-time CPT, you become ineligible for any post-completion optional practical training (OPT).

What’s the best part about OPT and community colleges?
You can get twice the work experience when you attend 雪的大学!
As an international st乌兰nt on an F-1 visa in the United 州, you are eligible for a total of 12 months of OPT per educational degree level (e.g. Associate’s, Bachelor’s, 硕士).
That means that when you enrol at a community college, you can do OPT twice!
That’s 24 months of full time OPT work experience. You'll get two valuable, unique employment opportunities plus twice the income potential!
